Built for active
bodies and ambitious goals.

Sports massage is a specialized, performance-focused therapy designed for athletes, weekend warriors, and active individuals. It combines deep, targeted muscle work with stretching, myofascial techniques, and recovery strategies to address tightness, improve range of motion, and prevent injuries.

Each session is customized to your body, activity level, and goals — whether you're training for an event, recovering from a workout, or maintaining peak performance year-round. Beyond the physical benefits, sports massage reduces stress, enhances circulation, and promotes faster recovery.

By the end of your session, you'll feel balanced, energized, and ready for your next challenge — all in the comfort and privacy of your own space.

Tailored to your goals.

Sports massage adapts to where you are in your training cycle and what your body needs most right now.

Pre-Event

Performance Prep

Light to moderate work focused on loosening tight muscles, increasing circulation, and getting your body primed and ready before a race, competition, or big training day. Timed to leave you energized without fatigue.

Post-Event

Recovery & Restoration

Deeper, slower work to flush metabolic waste, reduce inflammation, ease soreness, and restore full range of motion after intense effort. The fastest way back to feeling good and ready to train again.

Maintenance

Ongoing Performance

Regular sessions between training blocks to prevent the buildup of scar tissue, address compensation patterns, and keep your body moving efficiently — so injuries stay off the table and performance stays on track.

Rehabilitation

Injury Recovery

Targeted work on overused or strained areas to break down adhesions, restore circulation, and support the healing of soft tissue. Helps you return to activity faster and with less risk of re-injury.

Flexibility

Mobility & Range of Motion

Myofascial release and targeted stretching to open up tight areas, improve joint mobility, and restore the full range of motion that training can gradually steal. Move better. Feel better. Perform better.

Desk Athletes

Relief from Postural Tension

Long hours at a desk create many of the same compensation patterns as training — tight hips, locked thoracic spine, forward head posture. Sports massage techniques address all of it with the same precision applied to competitive athletes.

Precision work
for every muscle.

Your sports massage session combines several specialized techniques — each chosen based on your body's needs and your performance goals on that day.

1
Deep Tissue Work
Firm, targeted pressure into the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to break down adhesions and release chronic tension.
2
Myofascial Release
Sustained pressure applied to the fascia — the connective tissue surrounding muscles — to restore elasticity, release restrictions, and improve mobility.
3
Trigger Point Therapy
Precise pressure on specific hypersensitive points to release knots that cause localized pain and referred discomfort in other areas of the body.
4
Cupping
Decompression therapy using suction to lift tissue, increase circulation, reduce inflammation, and accelerate the clearance of metabolic waste from fatigued muscles.

Professional, precise care.

Every element of your sports massage session is chosen to support your performance and recovery — from pressure selection to aromatherapy and beyond.

01

Pressure & Focus Areas

Sports massage uses medium to firm pressure, precisely calibrated to your body and goals. The session begins with a check-in about your recent activity, areas of tightness, and any specific concerns. Work is focused and intentional — targeting the muscles that have been working hardest and the patterns that are limiting your movement.

02

Aromatherapy

Optional aromatherapy with essential oil blends selected to complement your session — energizing before performance, calming and restorative for recovery. A subtle enhancement that supports both the physical and mental side of athletic recovery.

03

No Commute, No Friction

After a hard training session, the last thing you want is to drive to a spa. Kandis comes to you — home, hotel, or wherever you are — so you can move from training to recovery without losing time or energy. Everything is set up and ready when you are, and you can rest immediately after the session.

Personalized sports massage
04

Fully Personalized to You

No two athletes have the same body or the same goals. Your session is built around your specific needs — the sport you play, where you are in your training cycle, the areas that need the most attention, and how your body responds to different techniques. Dedicated, uninterrupted attention from start to finish.

Complimentary Enhancements

Four performance-supporting add-ons included with every sports massage — at no extra charge.

Included

Aromatherapy

Custom essential oil blends chosen to support your session goal — energizing for pre-event work, calming and restorative for recovery. Enhances both the physical and mental dimension of your massage.

Included

Hot Himalayan Salt Stones

Warm mineral-rich stones applied to key muscle groups to prime tissues for deeper work and support post-session recovery. 84 trace minerals, deep penetrating warmth, and real physiological benefit.

Included

Cupping

Decompression therapy that lifts tissue rather than compresses it — increasing blood flow, reducing inflammation, and accelerating the clearance of metabolic waste from fatigued muscles. A favorite tool of elite athletes worldwide.

Included

Hot Towels

Applied to targeted areas at key moments throughout the session to warm tissues, increase local circulation, and prepare muscles for deeper therapeutic work — especially effective before myofascial and deep tissue techniques.

How is sports massage different from deep tissue?
Deep tissue massage focuses primarily on releasing chronic tension and knots through sustained deep pressure. Sports massage uses many of the same techniques but also incorporates myofascial release, cupping, trigger point therapy, and a performance-focused approach — adapting the session to your training cycle, sport, and specific movement goals rather than general tension relief.
When is the best time to book — before or after training?
Both work, but serve different purposes. Pre-event sports massage (within 24–48 hours of your event) is lighter and stimulating — it primes the muscles without inducing fatigue. Post-event massage (ideally 24–72 hours after intense effort) is deeper and focused on recovery. Maintenance sessions between training blocks don't require specific timing relative to workouts.
Will I be sore after a sports massage?
Some post-session soreness is normal, especially after deeper work or cupping. It typically fades within 24–48 hours and is a sign the tissue is responding. Staying hydrated, doing light movement, and avoiding intense training immediately after the session helps. Let your therapist know if you're sensitive to pressure and the session will be adjusted accordingly.
What do you bring and provide?
Everything — professional massage table, fresh linens, high-quality oils, cupping tools, hot stones, hot towels, and aromatherapy. Your space is set up as a calm, professional recovery environment so you don't need to prepare anything.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever is comfortable before and after your session. During the massage, you will be professionally draped at all times with only the area being worked on uncovered — the same standard as any professional massage environment.
How far in advance do I need to book?
We accept same-day bookings with at least 2 hours lead time. For post-race or post-event recovery, we recommend booking ahead since these slots fill quickly. We always respond same day.
Are you licensed?
Yes. All sessions are performed by Kandis Geide, a fully licensed and insured massage therapist trained in professional technique and client care. Lic #74032.
